What a year it's been! I have to say apart from the year where i was moving studios, working full time in schools and planning my wedding, this has been the year of the hard work and busyness! After coming out of lockdown fully, the adrenaline and excitement to dive into to anything and everything we could was at a large! From music videos, the Big Weekender, comps, showcases, community events, creating new teams and classes, this year has been jam-packed with so much adventure and fun!
I am so grateful for such an active year and remain humbled by it as although busy we can't take for granted the opportunities given when in lockdown we had little to explore.
This year we also were a finalist for Hyndburn Business Award for Customer Friendly. Thankyou for this to our customers and clients who both voted and write us such lovely reviews.
Being both a business owner and dance teacher can take it's toll and it is one of those jobs where you can be balancing an overwhelming amount at once and quite frequently and the understanding of this from our dance family is appreciated and i hold this awarded certificate with pride.
My drive for the studio is art, love & sharing this in our community with hope that one day our dancers will carry this torch and continue to share the love, sharing & passion from House Of Fusion onwards into their own lives and pass this on throughout the community. If i accomplish this, then my job has been done correctly and i have embraced my role in life.
This year was also HoF's 15th Year!! Honestly i can't tell you where the time has gone but that i am still here with the same love for dance and that i am honoured to have made it to this landmark of a year. I can hand on heart say that every student that has stayed with us for a good amount of time to become more knowledgeable and grow have all gone on to do incredible things and are inspiring role models.
May the torch continue to be passed and thankyou for 2022! The year of adventure and exploration!
